A Venture With Tim Rice?

Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice were originally approached in the 1970s to write some songs for a proposed film of Aspects of Love that never got made.

Her Majesty Gets Involved

When Lloyd Webber was asked to write a show for Queen Elizabeth’s private 60th birthday celebration in 1986, he got in touch with Rice and they collaborated on the mini-musical Cricket. A number of tunes the composer had already penned for Aspects got temporarily used in the production for Her Majesty!
